Kaima Rice

Jeerakasala Rice

Jeerakasala Rice, also known as Kaima Rice, is a short-grain aromatic rice variety native to Kerala. It is prized for its unique fragrance, short grains, and rich taste. Unlike long-grain varieties such as Basmathi, Jeerakasala rice is small and plump, absorbing flavors beautifully — making it the perfect choice for traditional dishes like Malabar Biryani (Thalassery Biryani) and festive preparations.
